Special Projects Case Studies
Tasked by a high net worth family office, the special projects team were asked to provide covert surveillance to monitor a member suspected of ill conduct. A team was deployed consisting of former UK military and government agency specialists to provide real-time monitoring utilising sophisticated surveillance equipment and gaining valuable evidence. The findings were collated into a detailed report which confirmed the suspicion of the client.
A financial house required protection of its CEO who is a prominent figure within the industry specifically without intrusion, having been threatened in the past and followed on previous journeys the special projects team provided covert counter surveillance operators and a covert protection team in order to watch the watchers and identify the individuals responsible.
The covert protection team closely followed the CEO as updated by the surveillance teams in order to intervene on any developing threats. The team blended into the background and the element of protection was not seen by the CEO throughout his journey.
Approached by a commercial shipping company the special projects team was asked to provide specific threat intelligence on various ports the companies vessels would be visiting. Tasking our former military intelligence analyst, a detailed report of each port was provided with advice on specific risk mitigation for the crew whilst the vessel was in situ.
A media company requested a red teaming for information security vulnerability and physical security testing.
The Special projects team were asked to penetrate the physical security and leave an unattended package as deep as possible within the building and to gain access through to the upper levels. This was achieved by identifying the requirement for further staff training and a review of security procedures and policies.
Our cybersecurity expert was able to identify vulnerable areas of technology infrastructure within the organisation and provide consultancy in reforming and adding upgraded software including further staff training and the revision of operating procedures within the infrastructure. Finally, a detailed report was produced and the team was asked to work further with the business to consult and recommend changes within the organisation's overall security framework.
